Mindful Movement & Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.
This class will begin with twenty minutes of gentle movement to balance the body's physical energy. The remaining class time will be spent in Shavasana while you're guided through the Yoga Nidra practice, which will bring you to a state of deep relaxation somewhere between consciousness and unconsciousness that will release tension, strengthen the immune system and instill a sense of joy and well-being. No yoga or meditation experience required.
Studio props (such as mats, blankets, bolsters, and blocks) will be provided for use during Shavasana, but you are also welcome to bring your own comfort items.

Natural Nurturing for Families: Holistic Living for Babies, Children, Tweens and Teens workshop
Spend a peaceful afternoon with Lauren Short, Meditation Therapist from Heart of the Hunter, in the serene Hunter Valley, as she shares mindfulness techniques to enhance your family’s well-being.
In my "Natural Nurturing: Holistic Living for Babies, Children, Tweens, and Teens" workshop, I’ll empower fellow mamas to reclaim their power from external providers and become their family’s alchemist and healer. By harnessing the powerful benefits of plant botanicals, you’ll learn how to create a wellness cabinet as your first line of defense for your little ones. 🌱🌿💚
This workshop is designed to inspire you to tap into the best of Mother Nature and your own intuition to care for your children. We’ll guide you in choosing the right products, how to use them, and when to seek additional support from our trusted list of holistic providers who align with our approach to nutrition and lifestyle.
When mamas connect with the wisdom of Mother Nature and trust their intuition, true magic unfolds. We become the healers, nurturers, and guiding lights our children need us to be.
Free for all YL members in my community, and $30 for non-members, which includes a 15ml bottle of YL essential oil. The $30 is refunded in cash if you purchase a YL starter kit on the day. This is an investment that’s well worth it, as the education provided is comprehensive, and that starter kit completely transformed my life by becoming my first-port-of-call wellness cabinet—empowering me to be my family’s healer at any time, day or night.
