Yoga is a practice that is meant to address the mind. Any kind of yoga practice, mantra we chant, ritual or asana. There is a reason for them all. How it’s Connected to the mind. The mind that is standing in between our true self.
Asana is a practice that affects the body. The body affects the mind. We practice asana so all the channels in the body are flowing smoothly.  When our digestive system, respiratory system etc are flowing smoothly. The mind is more lucid and clearer. We can then use this to go deeper into mediation. Yoga helps us find our true nature of our self.
